DO YOU KNOW WHY TIRES ARE BLACK ?

Some time our mind asks some questions why tires are black not of any other colors. Answer of this question should not be ‘’ black is beautiful ‘’. As per engineering perspective view there should be some scientific reasons for it.  Let’s know what this is

As we talk about the basic raw material of tires    carbon black is  added to the rubber. Carbon strengthens the rubber for anti punctured   and treads wear resistance.

Do you know, tires were not always black Earlier before some decade they were of other color. Even now days they are used in different colors like for children’s bicycles and tricycles.

But now in automobiles all tires are only black. There are so many manufacturers of tire in the country and everybody makes the tire only black because it is the requirement to add black carbon to strengthen the tires
